Hair Story: Imani Heard

“I experimented a lot with color and heat which damaged my natural curls. I wanted healthy hair again so I decided to big chop and start over!”

What were your go-to products during your transition?

During my TWA phase I’ve been in love with Aunt Jackie’s Curls and Coils products. I love the No Shrink and the Fix My Hair products.

If I could do it all over again I would’ve stayed away from bleach and heat.

How did your family react to your natural hair journey?

My mom was shocked I cut all of my hair off but she loves it now!
